i cant write poetry anymnore

I just cannot write poetry anymore i guess im not a poet just a lyricist,
Diffence is ,
use of words without rule or law free flowing like a horn blown by a jazz spiritist.
Filling empty souls with hope and inspiration
wings to rise above and beyond the mediocre ceiling
the way in which these vague lyrics are recited should be sinful
i mean i thought as life, poetry is beautiful and simple
A cocktail of words and rhythm designed by a rhyme
but if this poetry of mine was music then its out of time
Not in tune with the people's way of life and reality
so i cannot write poetry if it leaves no room for clarity
Now tell me if that doesn't sound like poetry to you
using rarely put together words for a beautiful view
I AM an everyday living poem, which hungry minds are craving for
and being that is the reason i cannot just write poetry anymore!
